Location: W. Branch Maple River, Pellston. From US-31, go west on Robinson, past the river, to the first 2-track on the right/north and follow signs.
Bring gloves and any yard/clean-up equipment (e.g. rakes, wheelbarrows, shovels - *please LABEL your equipment), waders if you have them - anything that could help with the clean up. Please share this event with your friends and groups.

Spring Tree Sale Pick-Up Location: Emmet County Fairgrounds, little barns (follow the signs into the fairgrounds)

*Pre-ordering is encouraged to ensure orders. Planting products and extra trees will be available for purchase by the public at the Fairgrounds on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Spring Fruit-Apple Tree Workshop & Sale
UPDATE 5-8-19: We still have quite a fruit trees available for sale! We have apples (Honeycrisp, Gala, RubyMac, Cortland, and Fuji), Montmorency sour cherries, sweet cherries (Benton and Skeena), Bartlett and Anjou pears, and Italian plums.
Please contact us if you are interested in placing an order. Trees are $30/each, or for bulk orders of 8+ trees are $25/ea (prices include sales tax).

The SECOND ANNUAL Moonlight Madness 5K Fun Run
Location: Petoskey State Park
Join us for a unique trail race! The funds raised from this event will help the Emmet Conservation District to continue its mission of protecting and conserving our natural resources, promoting sound sustainable agricultural practices and providing educational opportunities for the community.
The 5K run will start at 8:00 p.m.
Special awards will be given to the overall 1st and 2nd male and female finishers. A unique award will also be given to the top finisher in each age group.
Course: Loop combining Little Traverse Wheelway paved bike path and trail through the Petoskey State Park

Join us for a fascinating walk through the woods learning about fall mushrooms with local mycologist, Marilynn Smith! We will venture out in light rain or shine, so please dress for the weather.
***Please clean the bottoms of your boots or shoes before you leave your house to reduce the spread of unwanted and invasive species along trails and in the woods.
