our volunteers

Are you interested in volunteering? There are a number of ways that volunteers can help. We especially need volunteer assistance for our tree sales! We would be grateful for help with packing tree orders for customers as well as for distribution on tree pick-up days. Tree sales are a huge endeavor and help from our community is greatly appreciated. Volunteers are also needed for native plant sales, workshops, the ECD Annual Meeting, local clean-ups, invasive species surveying and removal, planting projects, and in many other ways! If you are interested in volunteering, please contact us!

CD would like to extend a sincere thank you to all of our past and present volunteers for all of your generosity and hard work!  We could not do the work that we do without you!

BOARD MEMBERS
Conservation Districts are local units of government, and as such, are directed by a Board of Directors. Board Members also volunteer their time and expertise to guide the district to ensure that it functions properly, providing guidance to District staff, and by supporting the mission of District. Board Members are elected during the Annual Meeting for 4-year terms or may be appointed to a vacancy position for the remaining portion of a year until the next Annual Meeting. The Board meets once a month for regular meetings, or as needed. If you are interested in becoming a Board Member or an Associate Board Member, please contact ECD for more information.

Emmet Conservation District would like to extend a sincere thank you to all of our past and present Board Members. The Board is an integral part of the District and we are grateful for your service!

donations

The Emmet Conservation District (ECD) is grateful for the support of our community, and we could not do the work we do without that community support.  Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to ECD. Your donations support the ECD to provide programs that directly benefit the community and are tax deductible under Section 170(c)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code.  Donors will receive a thank you letter and receipt, and your donations will be acknowledged at the ECD Annual Meeting.  We truly appreciate your support!
